has been given a new lease on life, thanks to a successful kidney transplant performed at
Yenepoya Medical College Hospital, Deralakatte, Mangalore. The kidney, generously donated

The intricate procedure was led by a distinguished team from the Yenepoya Institute of Nephro-
Urology. The urology team included Dr. Mujeeburahiman M (HOD), Dr. Altaf Khan, Dr. Nischith
D'Souza, and Dr. Sharath D V, with Vascular Surgeon Dr Ganesh Kamath. While the
nephrology team comprised Dr. Santhosh Pa (HOD), Dr. Haisam, Dr. Aditya, and Dr. Preema.
Pediatricians DrSahana and DrArun Varghese helped the team with their expertise in pediatric
care. The skilled anaesthesiology professionals, Dr. Thippeswamy and Dr. Mithalee ensured
smooth progress during the surgery.
